Gwede Mantashe, as per tradition, has written a handover report for whoever is chosen as the next minister of mineral resources & energy.
I suspect he might have to read the report himself next week after being sworn in again as the minister. Of course, the DA will see the department as an attractive one and try to negotiate to run it. It would be hard for the ANC to give up an entity that signifies the history of the struggle against dispossession...
