The former ministers who oversaw the running of their departments will have to retreat and hand over the reins

It is never easy being a subordinate, and more so when you were previously in charge.
This challenge faces three former ministers in President Cyril Ramaphosa’s previous cabinet, who have been demoted to deputy ministers in the government of national unity (GNU). Not participating in cabinet meetings, they will no longer be at the centre of power. ..
