Many column inches and much social media space have been used up on the law changes that will be ushered into rugby union on July 1, but for me there’s a much bigger issue that continues to be ignored by World Rugby.

In among the corporate speak in the releases issued by World Rugby trying to justify and explain the changes, there was emphasis on the fans and the need to make the sport more accessible to those fans and a new audience...
