SAA chair Dudu Myeni arrives one-and-a-half hours late for date with parliamentHaving just squeaked in a year-long extension to her blighted reign as chair of this listing ship (annual loss now revised to north of R5bn), Myeni basically treated parliament like the puppet structure that some would like it to become. She had a 'doctor's appointment' but did not think to get one of her minions to tell parliament about it.2. Police Minister cocks up Hawks appointmentThe minister of police wrote to the Speaker of parliament to confess an administrative stuff-up: He had failed to inform parliament of his decision to appoint one Berning Ntlemeza (the man who spends his days finding ways to intimidate Pravin Gordhan, but that's a story of incompetence for another day)....
