Fund managers at the conference this year were decidedly more upbeat about South Africa, but patience is the watchword

Once again, I attended The Investment Forum hosted by The Collaborative Exchange, a conference where fund managers showcase themselves to the financial planning industry. The tone of this year’s event, at the Sandton Convention Centre, was more positive than that of 2023 (where fund managers walked around looking rather whipped).
I will sacrifice depth for breadth to collate the range of thought-provoking ideas or facts presented (and offer my own ideas or opinions in brackets)...
