SABC chief operating officer Hlaudi Motsoeneng still has some lives left in the prolonged legal battle fending off those in pursuit of his scalp.In three terse sentences, the Supreme Court of Appeal dismissed on Monday Motsoeneng’s leave to appeal application against a high court judgment setting aside his appointment, saying it saw no prospect of success.This is the latest in a string of losses that has become a trend in the drawn-out saga. But the chief operating officer still has legal room to manoeuvre.Motsoeneng, the SABC or Communications Minister Faith Muthambi could still appeal to the Constitutional Court.
