International Container Port Terminals (ICTSI) clinched the deal to partner with Transnet to run SA’s largest container terminal because its offer topped unsuccessful rival Maersk’s by more than $100m.
The Manila-based operator says it is “raring to go” to start operating the Durban port terminal despite Maersk taking Transnet to court over the deal...
